23rd HRVCON returns from KFOR

The members of the 23rd HRVCON on 29 March 2017 returned from KFOR in Kosovo. Thew were welcomed to the 91st Air Base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence  by the Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the Base Colonel Nikola Mostarac and the family members.

Colonel Mostarac congratulated the members of the Contingent on the professional completion of the mission in KFOR and presented the best performing among them with commendations and awards.

THe Croatian Armed Forces have been engaged to KFOR in Kosovo along with a total of 30 other countries  since 2009. The members of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence have been assigned with flight tasks in the area of operations.
The core mission of the HRVCON is transportation of KFOR forces, VIPs and cargo. The members are stationed in the Camp Bondsteel in Uroševac/Ferizai, and are subordinated directly to the KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo.
