Croatian Air Force Commander Brigadier General Michael Križanec congratulated all former and current colleagues, and all airmen on their 32nd anniversary, pointing out that today we should remember with immense gratitude all the predecessors who had woven themselves, their youth, and their lives into the establishment of the Croatian Air Force and our country’s freedom.
“From the establishment of the Croatian Air Force until present day, a lot has changed and is constantly changing. We literally started from scratch, the Croatian Air Force was created from nothing, and today it is growing into a modern air force”, he pointed out and concluded: “The Croatian Air Force is not just an organization; it is not just an organizational unit, and it is not a military hierarchy. It is a family and a team. It is an honour to be a member of the Croatian Air Force family and the Croatian Armed Forces, and we are called to justify that honour every day with our thoughts and actions. I expect all airmen to do their best in further establishment and development of capabilities that guarantee peace and security.”
