Members of the Montenegrin Armed Forces in Požega preparing for ISAF

Pre-deployment training of members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro began in the barracks in Požega, which will, as a part of the 21st Croatian contingent, participate in the ISAF operation in Afghanistan .

 

Training is provided as part of the pre-deployment training of the 21st Croatian contingent, and it started on Saturday, 8 January 2013, by training of five members of the Montenegrin Armed Forces for combat rescuers, while on Monday, 14 January 2013, nine members of the Montenegrin Armed Forces began with training for drivers.

The pre-deployment training of the 21st Croatian contingent including the contingent of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, which has a total of 33 members, will end with “Hrvatski ponos” exercise that will be implemented in the Gašinci military training ground from 18 January to 1 February 2013. “Hrvatski ponos” exercise also represents the final part of the preparation and evaluation of the readiness of the Croatian contingent for participation in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan.
