Explosion incident in “Pađene” Ammo Depot
The recovery works in the Pađene Ammunition Depot on 10 July 2013 at 10.40 have been interrupted by a sudden explosion of a residual explosive ordnance left in the high vegetation within the Depot.
The explosion left injured three mine clearing engineers of the Croatian Armed Forces, one of whom in a grave condition.
All the three engineers were taken to the hospital in Knin for medical treatment. Immediately upon its completion, the public will be informed of the condition of the engineers.
