Defence Minister presents former UK DATT with a Letter of Appreciation
Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović presented the former United Kingdom Defence Attaché the Republic of Croatia, Lt. Col. Philip Osment, with the Letter of Appreciation for the outstanding contribution to advancement of the bilateral defence co-operation and building of confidence and partnership between the two countries during the term served in Croatia in the period 2010-2013.
Presenting the Letter to Lt. Col. Osment Minister Kotromanović praised the advancement of the defence co-operation between Croatia and the UK as a result of Lt. Col. Osment’s engagement, particularly with respect to co-operation between the respective Navies, with the focus on the officer and NCO training, and the successful joint training of the Croatian and the British Armies, and reminded of the success of the “SAVA STAR” Exercise as the first joint training event, held in the Croatian territory in 2013.
In conclusion, the Minister stated that the Letter of Appreciation was a recognition for the overall commitment and the efforts by Lt. Col. Osment and wished him succes in his future life and career.
