7th AAT PTC Joint Training under way in the Czech Republic
The joint training within the 7th Air Advisory Team Pre-deployment Training Course for Croatian, Czech and Hungarian pilots commenced in Ostrava, the Czech Republic on 5 May 2014.
It is conducted on the Mi-171 attack helicopter simulator.
The AAT PTC comprises two cycles of preparation for ISAF, the first one hosted by the Czech Republic , where the multinational crews practice on the simulator Ovom obukom posade se prije upućivanja u područje operacije ISAF u Afganistanu pripremaju kroz dva ciklusa. U prvom dijelu domaćin je Češka, gdje se multinacionalne posade na simulatoru pripremaju za uvjete multinacionalnog okružja u kabini helikoptera kako bi se uskladili standardi u obuci afganistanskih pilota.
The training in Ostrava completed in the latter half of May 12, the crews will move to the 93rd Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Base at the Zemunik Barracks to take the practice flights on the Croatian Mi-171Shs and the Czech assault Mi-24 helicopters.
The Air Advisory Pre-deployment Course, co-designed by the Croatian and Czech teams, with the advisory support from the U.S. Special Operations Command Europe, has been accepted and filed as a project within the NATO’s Smart Defence Initiative.
