General Lovrić visits Azerbaijani Armed Forces
The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovrić is heading a delegation of the Croatian Armed Forces in the official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on 7 and 8 May 2014.
On 7 May 2014 the delegation visited the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence, and held talks with the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Najmaddin Sadigov, discussing the ways to develop the bilateral military co-operation of Azerbaijan and Croatia, in the military technical and T&E domains respectively, and exchanging the views and experiences related to defence reforms and participation in PSO
General Lovrić was received by the Defence Minister of Azerbaijan, Lt. Gen. Zakir Hasanov and visited the “Garaheybat” Military Training Range and the ongoing exercise of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces entailing the Level 2 CREVAL of the infantry battalion.
The Croatian delegation is to visit the Training Centre and the AzerbaijanHigh Military School.
