NATO IMS Director General visits “Zemunik”
The Director General of the NATO International Military Staff, Air Marshal Sir Christopher Harper on 9 June visited the “Zemunik” Barracks, delivering a lecture on “the Future of NATO in the post-ISAF period”
Air Marshal Harper met with the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff Director, Major General Mate Pađen and the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Brigadier General Dražen Ščuri. He has been accompanied by the Croatian Military Representative to NATO and the EU, Lieutenant General Mirko Šundov.
Air Marshal Harper also visited the air squadrons of the 93rd Air Base which is housed at the Barracks, and got familiarised with the activities and the acquired capabilities of the units and with the air assets available at the Base.
On his first visit to Croatia he also visited the Croatian Navy.
