International Land Exercise “MIR 14/2”
The International Land Exercise “MIR 14/2” (held at the “Eugen Kvaternik” Range near Slunj from 7- 9 July 2014) entailed evaluation of the components of the 24th HRVCON to ISAF,
manned by members of the Croatian Armed Forces augmented with the 10th Contingent of the Army of Montenegro. The 24 HRVCON is to be deployed to Afghanistan in September.
The Exercise featured practice and implementation of tactics and procedures and the evaluation of the components’ capabilities in compliance with the ISAF Concept of Operations to test the readiness of the Contingent. The evaluation was conducted by the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff Evaluator Team.
