Final Coordination Conference for “UDAR 14” EXE
The Field Exercise «UDAR 14» Final Co-ordination Conference was held at the Guards Motorised Brigade Headquarters in Knin on 28 August 2014.
The Exercise will be held at the «Eugen Kvaternik» Training Range near Slunj from 24 to 27 September 2014. It will entail national evaluation of the forces declared under the Capability Goals, including the Mechanised infantry Battle Group (integral unit), a Military Police Coy and a versatile NBC platoon.
During the evaluation procedure the members of the participating units will familiarise with the exercise scenario, featuring possible situations in tactical land operations, in co-ordination with the supporting units and the weapons systems. The Exercise will also serve as functional testing of the new components of the MILES system used in it.
The Final Co-ordination Conference was opened by Colonel Tihomir Kundid, Deputy Commander of the Guards Motorised Brigade, as Exercise Director and Chief of Staff, who presented the previous experiences and the details of the Exercise preparation.
