Minister and Chief of the General Staff visit Greek Artillery Training Centre

Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović and the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovrić, accompanied by the delegation of the Croatian Army and of the Croatian Defence Academy

visited the Artillery Training Centre of the Hellenic Army on 26 September 2014, to familiarise themselves with the training experience of the Hellenic Army  and to attend the PhZ 2000 live-fire exercise.
Minister Kotromanović expressed his satisfaction over the prospective introduction of the weapon into the Croatian Armed Forces as the most powerful artillery asset used. We have visited this unit to familiarise ourselves with the extensive experience of the Hellenic Army with the PzH 2000“.
General Lovrić agreed that PzH was an ultimate artillery weapon and welcomed its entry into the Croatian Armed Forces. “The visit has been highly informative. Our intention was to get first-hand experience from  a country already in possession of the weapon prior to its introduction into the Croatian Armed Forces. The Hellenic Army is also experienced in training other countries, such as Quatar, and we had the opportunity to observe their artillery officers’ expertise in operating, crew training and field use of the PzH 2000 in the exercise“.
The Hellenic Army has 24 PhZs  2000.
