General Lovrić attends EU MC meeting
The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General zbora Drago Lovrić attended the European Union Military Committee in Chiefs of Defence format in Brussels on 12 and 13 November 2014.
The participants discussed the operations and missions within the EU Common Security and Defence Policy, the transition operations and those ongoing off the Somalia coast (Operation Atalanta), in Sahel (Operation Barkhane) and in the Central African Republic (Operation Sangaris). On the Committee’s agenda were also the relations with the Western Balkans; the Single European Sky initiative, the capabilities (in a dedicated session) and projects, such as the European Maritime Security Strategy.
