“Wings of Storm” join the Wings for Life World Run
The “Wings of Storm“ Aerobatic Group of the 93rd Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Base hailed the participants of the international “Wings For Life World Run“ that took off from Zadar on 3 May 2015.
It was the Group’s second performance in the new composition and a 5-aircraft formation, led by Major Damir Barišić. Along with him as Team Leader, the Group is composed of Captain Ivan Anđić (Left Wing), 1st Lieutenant Goran Grgić (Right Wing), 1st Lieutenant Darko Belančić (Slot Pilot) and 1st Lieutenant Denis Živaljić (2nd Left Wing).
The Group performed a flypast over the Run’s starting line in Zadar, the Croatian host of the Run for the second consecutive year. The Run was held at 35 locations in 33 countries, under the moto “Running for those who can’t“ and gathered thousands of racers for a humanitarian cause.
