Minnesota National Guard Adjutant General visits Croatia
Major General Richard C. Nash, the Minnesota National Guard Adjutant General is on an official visit to Croatia from 18-22 May.
On 19 May Major General Nash was received by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Dragutin Repinc, with whom he discussed the re-organisation of the Armed forces, military service and reserve, te procurement of new combat systems, the potential offered by the „Eugen Kvaternik“ Training Range, as well as the drafting of strategic documents and the regional and global security situation.
Lt. Gen. Repinc underlined the productive ongoing co-operation between the Croatian Armed Forces and the Minnesota National Guard, to be continued in the time ahead.
Major General Nash also paid an official call to the President of the Republic of Croatia and Supreme Commander of the Croatian Armed Forces, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
During his visit to Croatia General Nash is to attend the Fittest Soldier Competition, held in the “Eugen Kvaternik“ Training Range near Slunj from 13 -22 May 2015.
