Minister Krstičević visits HS Produkt
The Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and the Defence Minister, Damir Krstičević on 13 January 2017 visited the “HS Produkt d.o.o“, the pistol and rifle manufacturing company from Karlovac.
The Minister was welcomed by the firm owners, Ivan Žabčić and Marko Vuković, and toured the manufacturing plant, where he was familiarised with the HS Produkt’s production range and the manufacturing process. Director Željko Pavlin briefed the Minister on the company’s business results, the potential and the challenges for the future.
The Minister expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to witness the potential and the top achievements of the Croatian economy.in his capacity as the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister.“We have seen here the amazing results achieved by the Croatian experts and the benefits of the initative from the Croatian entrepreneurs. I strongly welcome the years-long productive co-operation between the Croatian Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces and HS Produkt“, said Minister Krstičević.
HS Product is highly renowned for manufacturing semi-automatic pistols and the VHS assault rifles which have been used by the Croatian Armed Forces. It employs the state-of-the-art technologies in the manufacturing of infantry weapons and is one of the world’s largest pistol manufacturers.
