Minister Banožić meets with the U-S- Ambassador to Croatia
Minister and the U.S. Ambassador affirmed the excellent bilateral defence relations
The Croatian Defence Minister Mario Banožić met with the United States Ambassador to Croatia H. E. Robert Cohorst on 1 September 2020, in an incoming visit.
During the meeting the Minister and Ambassador Kohorst affirmed the excellent bilateral defence relations and the productive co-operation within NATO. They discussed joint participation in NATO-led operations, missions and activities, as well as equipment projects, training, education and military exercises of the Croatian Armed Forces and of the U.S. Army. The United States is an important strategic partner of the Republic of Croatia in the domain of defence, and Minister Banožić stated that the continued successful co-operation would be one of the priorities during his office.
The two sides concluded the meeting praising the co-operation to date, and expressing readiness and for future co-operation and business communication.
