Brigadier General Drazen Scuri took over duty from Major General Vlado Bagaric

On Monday, 2 May 2011, a handover between the Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence (HRZ i PZO), Major General Vlado Bagaric and Deputy Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier General Drazen Scuri was carried out, who will next to his duty perform the duty of the Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence.

Brigadier General Drazen Scuri is a member of the Croatian Armed Forces since 1991. So far, he held various positions in the Air Force and Air Defence, from Helicopter Squadron Commander, Chief of Operations Department of the Air Force and Air Defence Command until recently as Deputy Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence. He has been praised and awarded, and decorated with the Memorial of Homeland War, the Order of Croatian Trefoil and Memorial of Homeland Gratitude, as well as with “Flash”, “Storm” and “Extraordinary Undertakings” medals.

He is a graduated transport engineer, and from military schools he completed “Blago Zadro” Command and Staff College and “Ban Josip Jelacic” War College, as well as several courses abroad.
