Rear Admiral Simicic in inspection of CAF FF Task Force
The Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations, Admiral Zdenko Simicic with colleagues, conducted an inspection today, May 13, of CAF Fire-fighting Task Force (CAF FF TF) readiness for fire-fighting season 2011.
During the inspection, the CAF FF TF Commander Major General Mate Obradovic gave a presentation on the readiness of forces. Also, the General stressed the good coordination with all GS directorates, as well as with National Protection and Rescue Administration, County fire-fighting captains and Fire-fighting Operational Centre in Divulje and with Commanders at the fire-fighting sites.
Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations, Admiral Zdenko Simicic, said that the CAF FF TF Command had made great efforts in preparing fire-fighting season 2011. The admiral believed that CAF FF TF would completely fulfil their tasks.
Assistant Chief Fire-fighting Commander for the Coast Tomislav Vuko concluded that the CAF FF TF were ready for the upcoming season and stressed the good cooperation with the CAF FF TF Command and MOD.
