PM Kosor visits “stn K. Ivosevic” Training Centre in Dugo Selo

Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor visited today, 26 August 2011, the  Training centre for official dog’s guide “Captain K. Ivosevic” in Dugo Selo.

Prime Minister Kosor was accompanied by the Minister of Defence Davor Bozinovic, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovric and other senior military officials, the first Commander of Military Police, retired Lieutenant General Mate Lausic and Deputy Director of the Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance, Vesna Kadic Komadina.
The visit was organized to mark twenty years of organizing the Military Police in which composition is the training centre.
Once acquainted with the activities and tasks of the training centre, Prime Minister Kosor visited facilities in which they breed dogs. Several exercises in which dogs demonstrated their skills and training in the detection of tobacco products, explosives and narcotics, detection of suspicious individuals and working with puppies were performed.
“I am very pleased and I think this is on the pride of us all. This is truly an example of great work”, Prime Minister Kosor said. She congratulated all those who have been responsible for so quality work and added that the dogs from the training centre participated in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. Prime Minister Kosor pointed out that this was a confirmation that we have great armed forces.
