Night Flight training of helicopter pilots
Pilots of Helicopter Squadron of the 93rd Air Force Base ended today, October 7, NVG training (Night Vision Googles) on the Bell 206 B helicopters.
One-week training is part of a systematic training of helicopter crews’ night flying. This training enables CAF to more effectively participate in the search and rescue missions and other flight activities at night.
This is the modern equipment that allows a safer flight and landing at night on unlighted fields, and by successful completion of training CAF aligned its standards and compatibility with NATO forces.
