Children from the Association for game, ecology, social welfare and culture visited Divulje
As part of the “World Around Us” program, children from the Association for the game, ecology, social welfare and culture from Split and part of residents of the Mistral home who care about children without parents, visited on 5 November 2011 the barracks “Prince Trpimir” in Divulje near Split where they met crews of the transport helicopter squadron of the 93rd Air force Base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence.
Association president Slavica Runjic-SegviC thanked the Squadron staff for the warm welcome and possibilities of visiting helicopters of the Air Force and Air Defence. In addition to visiting of MI-8 MTV helicopter, pilots and technical staff presented the flying, pilot job and its most important activities of which are certainly the most recognizable emergency medical flights which saved many lives.
