Training crews of Lithuanian Air Force completed in Zemunik
Helicopter crews of Lithuanian Air Force have successfully completed a training today, 18 November 2011, in Zemunik Barracks.
Lithuanian team of four pilots, two technicians and three ground technicians was led by Captain Laimis Aleknavičius and training lasting three weeks was conducted on the Lithuanian air forces helicopter Mi-8 (Mi-17).
This is the third group of Lithuanian Air Force who were trained for flying in mountainous areas for AMT (Air Mentoring Team) under the expert guidance of Croatian pilots. The first two training groups were conducted in Divulje, while this is the first training that was conducted in Zemunik Barracks.
