General Lovrić met Chief of Joint Staff of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Chief of General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić met today, 15 May 2012, in Karlovac, the Chief of Joint Staff of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Miladin Milojčić.
During the working meeting they discussed bilateral military cooperation, training of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Croatia, the joint training of armed forces in both countries, Croatia and Bosnia, participation in international operations, particularly in the NATO led ISAF operation in Afghanistan, cooperation in the field of testing and verifying knowledge of foreign languages (“BiH STANAG 6001”) and participation in joint exercises.
Both sides emphasized the importance and quality of existing bilateral cooperation and cooperation within the US-Adriatic Charter (A-5). As a good example of successful bilateral cooperation, recent sending of two CAF fire-fighting aircraft to help extinguish forest fire near Konjic in Bosnia was highlighted.
Upon completion of bilateral talks, Joint Chief of Staff of BiH with delegation visited the “HS Produkt” Company in Ozalj.
