Major General Michelle Johnson on official visit to CAF
Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations of Allied Command Operations (ACO / SHAPE) Major Gen. Michelle Johnson paid on 16 May 2012 the official visit to the Croatian Armed Forces, accompanied by Brigadier General Odd-Egil Pedersen and Ivan Benneta, who have been on service in the SHAPE.
Major General Michelle Johnson was welcomed by the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić, and the meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations Rear Admiral Zdenko Simičić and Deputy Chief of Planning Directorate Colonel Darko Bijuklić.
They discussed the current state and the transition process in the ISAF operation in Afghanistan, Croatian Armed Forces Participation in ISAF, the role of SHAPE / ACO in the process of strategic planning in NATO and on the NRF (NATO Response Force).
