Pilot cadets exercise on aircraft accident procedures at sea

“Survival and rescue after aircraft accident at sea” exercise was held on Friday, July 27, in the “Prince Trpimir” Barracks in Divulje.

A squadron of transport helicopters (ETH) of the 93rd Air Force Base and Special Operations Battalion provided support to the exercise. The exercise is a part of the cadet pilot training “KAMP-2.”

Organizations of the training through the “KAMP” is designed in accordance with the requirements and needs of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, and with it, the cadets, future pilots of the Air Force, are trained to independently operate in the special conditions when carrying out the flight tasks. During today’s tactical training, cadets were trained for the proper use of the rescue procedures, proper use of the rescue and survival kits, and for properly marking the extraction area and medical aid.

Cadets were also introduced with a helicopter search, with the procedures of counter-terrorist group at the crash ground and with the procedures in the event of a crash in the area under enemy control.
