General Hanevik visits Jackal Stone Exercise Command Post

Brigadier General Karl Egil Hanevik, Commander of the special forces of the Kingdom of Norway visited on September 18 the Command Post of the Jackal Stone Exercise in Zemunik.

The General met with the Exercise Commander Major General Michael S. Repass and his deputy, Brigadier General Ivan Jurić.

During the meeting with General Jurić, General Hanevik expressed his satisfaction with everything that Croatia provided to exercise participants through the HNS (Host Nation Support). The generals have talked about the role and importance of the special units in the armed forces, and the importance of working together in a multinational environment, as well as exchanging the experience. General Hanevik expressed a desire and willingness to share with the CAF the Norway experience from the work of special forces.

General Hanevik also met with the activities of Norwegian forces in Jackal Stone exercise and will visit Split where Norwegian participants have been accommodated.
