German Military Attaché in Zemunik
German Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jörg Rauber visited on Thursday, 24 January 2013, the Zemunik Barracks where he was received by the Commander of the 93rd Air Force Base Lieutenant Colonel Karol Lučan. It is the inaugural visit of Lt.Col. Rauber to units of the Armed Forces during which he meets with the commanding staff and with the tasks and missions of troops in order for bilateral cooperation between the German and Croatian armed forces would further developed in a partnership and friendly atmosphere.
During his stay in Zemunik Colonel Rauber visited all the components of the Air Base, and the interesting thing is that the Lt.Col. Rauber and Lučan were attending Croatian War College “Ban Josip Jelačić” in the last generation. German Military Attaché expressed particular interest for the educational model of the Croatian military pilots as well as for activities that Croatian squadrons conduct through international co-operation in the training and implementation of international peacekeeping missions.
During his stay in Zemunik Colonel Rauber also visited the Centre for Air Force and Air Defence training, “Rudolf Perešin” where he was received by the Commander Colonel Dragan Oljica.
