Emergency treatment in the primary health care
The Logistic Training and Doctrine Centre in Požega hosted from 5 to 8 February the Course „Emergency Treatment in Primary Health Care Facilities“. The Course was attended by 23 medical specialists of the Croatian Armed Forces (physicians and paramedics) to be trainers for the subsequent events. The aim of the Couse was to maintain medical competence, acquisition of additional health care skills by the Armed Forces medical personnel and traning in basic and advanced life support methods in pre-hospital conditions and development of advanced courses. The Course is valued by both the Croatian Medical Chamber and the Chamber of Nurses.
The Course Designer, Maj. Berislav Dalić, stated on the occasion: „The value of the Course of the kind is a clear approach and update with the newest guidelines related to the pre-hospital treatment procedure. For that purpose we have established direct co-operation with the Croatian Emergency Medicine Institute which is the guidelines authority. The Course was also attended by dr. Branka Tomljenović, the Deputy Director of the Institute, as instructor“
