MiG-21 Overhaul Offer Opening Attended by the Tenderers
The Ministry of Defence’s Board in charge of evaluation of the offers for overhaul and acquisition of the MiG 21 fighter aicraft officially opened the offers today 17 May 2013.
The procedure was conducted in the Public Procurement Sector of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, in the presence of the representatives of both tenderers, who welcomed the way the procedure was completed.
The respective MoD Board is expected to officially select the tenderer, with prompt notification to the public.
The contracting of overhaul and acquisition of the total of 12 MiG-21 Fighter Aircraft was initiated in accordance with the “Regulation on Public Procurement in Defence and Security”, for which the Ministry of Defence had the necessary funds allocated in the budget for the year 2013.
