Mechanised Guard Brigade members train Našice pupils
Members of the Mechanised Guard Brigade of the Croatian Army on took part on Saturday 22 June 2013 in the project titled “Youth Camp” organised by the Slavonija Nature-lovers Association from 21 – 23 June 2013.
The Brigade’s Recce Company prepared a presentation and tutorials for the pupils on “Outdoor survival”, to teach them movement and orientation in the outdoor conditions, the use of the indispensable equipment and on how to find water and food in adverse conditions. The pupils showed big attention to the procedures demonstrated by the soldiers, as evinced by a large number of questions that the soldiers answered to a detail.
The day-long tutorial and the presentations were held in the vicinity of the “TIVANOVO” mountain hut at Gazije in the eastern Croatia (Osijek-Baranja County).
