Minister Kotromanović congratulates gold sailing winners
Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović extended today 28 June 2013 congratulations to Tina Mihelić (Laser Radial), Tonči Stipanović (Laser), and Šime Fantela and Igor Marenić (the 470 Class), the Croatian Armed Forces’ winners in their respective disciplines at the ongoing Mediterranean Games in Mersin, Turkey.
“Dear Tina, Tonči, Šime and Igor, on behalf of all employees of the Ministry of Defence and members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, I am extending sincere congratulations to you on winning the gold medals at the Mediterranean Games. We are proud to have you as members of the Armed Forces, and wish you success in the future competitions, from which we hope to hear great news as well”, were the words by the Minister.
Tina Mihelić, Tonči Stipanović, Šime Fantela and Igor Marenić have been members and active duty officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia since October 2010, based on the agreement between the Ministry of Defence and the Croatian Olympic Committee on co-operation and promotion of sports in the Republic of Croatia.
