14th HRVCON KFOR returns from Kosovo
Having completed the rotation with the 15th HRVCON KFOR, the 14th HRVCON KFOR returned from Kosovo on 20 March 2014.
Upon the arrival at the Divulje Air Base the 14th HRVCON KFOR Commander, Captain Stjepan Jović, expressed his gratitude to the Contingent’s members for successfully completing their assignments, comprising joint group flying practice with other Alliance nations, which was particularly important in winter conditions, requiring high capability and trainedness of the crews.
The Contingent comprised three Mi-171 Sh crews, a technician team in charge of maintenance and the National Support Element.
Croatia has partipated in KFOR since 2009, on 4-month rotation basis, situated in the Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj/Uroševac assigned with transport of KFOR forces, cargo and VIPs, and has been directly subordinated to the KFOR Commander.
