Border-area meeting of Chiefs of General Staffs of Croatian and Hungarian Armed Forces

The Chiefs of the General Staffs of the Croatian and Hungarian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovrić and General Tibor Benko held a border -area meeting at Goszola, Hungary on 2 April 2014.

General Lovrić was accompanied by the Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Brig. Gen. Dražen Ščuri, Head of the Operations and Training Directorate of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Commodore Tihomir Erceg, Commander of the Special Operations Battalion, Lt. Col. Dražen Ressler and the Aide-de Camp, Lt. Col. Emilio Turina.

The two delegations exchanged the experiences related to bilateral and multilateral co-operation of their respective Armed Forces and their transformation, and discussed the co-operation in training and education of special forces units and the Military Police, the joint air training, military exercises, co-operation within NATO and and in the regional framework and participation in PSO operations.
