Minister Krstičević meets with German Defence Minister
On the margins of the Munich Security Conference the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krstičević on 16 February 2019 met with the Defence Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Ursula von der Leyen.
Minister Krstičević and Minister von der Leyen praised the bilateral defence co-operation between Croatia and Germany. They two ministers also addressed the co-ordinated preparations for the presidency of the Council of the EU, which Germany is to take over from Croatia in 2020 and exchanged views on the EU’s defence initiatives and the modalities of defence co-operation.
