Czech-Croatian defence consultation
Assistant Minister for Defence Policy, Zoran Drča met with the Czech Deputy Defence Minister, Daniel Koštoval in Prague, the Czech Republic on 6th May to hold Czech-Croatian defence policy consultation.
The two ministers expressed the interest in expanded defence co-operation between the respective Ministries both bilaterally or within the multilateral fora, primarily the Central European Defence Co-operation and the Multinational Aviation Centre.
The Deputy Minister Koštoval and Assistant Minister discussed the future course for the European Common Security and Defence Policy and the impact of current security threats on the situation in Europe and the NATO plans, enlargement perspectives and the expectations from the upcoming summit in Warsaw. In conclusion, they signed the Annual Bilateral Defence Co-operation Plan for the year 2015.
