“Jackal Stone 09” Initial Press Conference

On occasion of the start of “Jackal Stone 09” international military exercise, the Initial Press Conference will be held on Thursday, September  9 2009, in the “Zemunik” Barracks in Zemunik Donji, starting at 10.00 hours.
The deputy commander of the exercise on the Croatian side and Deputy Commander of the CAF Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier General Drazen Scuri, Chief of Exercise Staff, Navy Captain Steve Wisotzki and Commander of the CAF GS Special Operations Battalion Colonel Nikola Zupanic will present the program of events and activities on the “Jackal Stone 09” exercise.
“Jackal Stone 2009” international military exercise will be held in the Republic of Croatia from 10 to 27 September 2009 organized by the CAF GS Special Operations Battalion and the US Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR). Around 1500 participants from 10 countries – Albania, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Ukraine and the United States, will participate on the exercise.

Also, we kindly ask all media representatives to come to the “Zemunik” Barracks in Donji Zemunik on Thursday, September 10, no later than 09.30 hours.
