Environmental Protection
Unlike traditional military forces, which use large vehicles, special operations forces use smaller vehicles, smaller ships, and work in small teams, which reduces their impact on the environment during operation. The majority of forces during the exercise will be housed in military facilities and will have minimal impact on the environment. Additionally, the exercise will be conducted far from residential areas in order to minimize any impact on the civilian population and tourists-visitors.
All participants must complay to all existing laws and regulations menitoned in the Technical agreement for the exercise and Memorandum.
During the exercise conduct, all participants must comply with all regulations related to environmental protection – Environmental Protection Act (Official Gazette no. 110/07), Law on Waste (Official Gazette no. 178/04 and 111/06) and Law on Air Protection (Official Gazette No. . 178/04), Law on Protection of Nature (Official Gazette no. 70/05) as well as many other laws and bylaws of the domestic and international legislation and applicable international agreements to protect all components of the environment (air, soil, water, sea, natural and cultural heritage, flora and fauna …)
